Sam Maedke

I love all types of hunting, Turkey, Deer, Upland, but When I was just a young buck my father would carry me in a backpack through the marsh every weekend. I still remember those sunrise talks. And since day one I’ve always thought calling and communicating with birds was awesome! It took me no time to pick one up and start practicing. Through the years I’ve always been the “caller” in the blind for my dad and all his buddies. Then I was introduced to competitions. Was a little different than what I expected but was quick to start practicing for that perfection! I’ve placed 1st 2nd and 3rd for Wisconsin multiple times. Always wanted to go further with it but life loves to get in the way. I love the competition family and reuniting every year with everyone. Looking forward to future competition and friendships made along the way!
